The Button House Incubator Project is a retail incubator designed to assist small business owners who want to get their products to market, scale up their sales, and eventually move into their own storefront. The retail incubator project is designed to provide technical assistance, mentorship, and opportunity to foster business growth that will expand and strengthen the business community in Aledo.
Participants in the project will gain access to a series of workshops designed to assist in navigating the process of opening and/or operating a business. Some workshop topics include designing a marketing plan, setting up an accounting system, how to plan for the future of your business, and how to set your business apart from the competition.
The Button House Incubator Project will debut in spring 2018 with a grand opening planned for the Rhubarb Festival during the first weekend in June. Business workshops will be scheduled beginning in the spring and running throughout the year.
The City of Aledo is looking to partner with people who have a dream of opening their own shop.
